It works on sustainable practices to reduce the environmental impact of leather production. The members are regularly checked by independent auditors.

Our leather supplier is a member of the Leather Working Group and was awarded the highest rating “Gold” in its last audit due to its high standard. In order to personally convince ourselves of this, we visited the tannery with our production team. The leather we use is certified according to high environmental standards, its origin is traceable and a verifiable waste product of the food industry. It is also tanned chrome-free, which means that it has been treated with vegetable and synthetic materials to give it its soft, supple surface and to make it durable. Although this procedure is significantly more costly than conventional chrome tanning, it is also much more environmentally friendly.

We recommend taking the SAYA coat to a professional dry cleaner. The coat must not be ironed and is also not suitable for the dryer.
